Visa guide - documents, categories and processing times for every VNORAS destination

Visa, sorted first

The visa guide

Categories are for an Indian passport, our launch market. Each destination's visa guide lists the documents, processing time and validity; we confirm the exact fee for you during your application, along with the itinerary it needs.

Let us handle the paperwork

Pick your destination, upload the documents it needs, and our visa team reviews everything and sends you a secure payment link with the next steps.

Not sure which applies to you?

Visa rules depend on your passport and sometimes your residence. Tell us both and an expert confirms the category, documents and timeline.

Understanding the four visa categories

Visa-free

Travel on your passport alone - no application, no fee, no waiting. The only thing to check is how many days you're allowed to stay, since that varies by country and matters if you're combining more than one destination on a single trip.

Visa on arrival

Still no advance paperwork, but you'll complete a short form and pay a fee at immigration when you land. Worth having a passport photo and a printed return ticket handy - some counters still ask for both.

e-Visa

The paperwork happens before you fly, but entirely online - upload your documents, pay online, and carry the approval (usually a PDF) with you. Processing typically takes a few days, so it's the one category where timing your application matters.

Sticker / embassy visa

The most involved route: an in-person or courier-based application to an embassy or visa centre, with a fuller document checklist and a longer processing window. This is also where VNORAS does the most work on your behalf - collecting the documents, checking them against the destination's requirements, and handling the submission.

Every destination page here states the exact document checklist, processing time and validity we currently have on file, plus when it was last checked and where the information came from - visa rules change, sometimes with only weeks of notice, so we'd rather say “confirmed with our visa team” than publish something stale. One thing that applies across every category: most countries expect your passport to stay valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates - the single most common reason an otherwise-fine application gets delayed, so it's worth checking first.
